9/25/2013 its all about perspectiveHello Lovelies, Just had these thoughts running through my mind that I wanna pen down. I got a friend over this afternoon! Thanks for the nice afternoon! We gotta do this more often though, I agree! While chatting, you discover another view, you put things in perspective, you get feedback. You get Inspiration cause your Muse listens too and then picks out ideas that you can work out cause ideas gets you inspired and being inspired creates plans and projects. I'm all about Projects, heehee! I know I sound like Michael a lot! I'm a real 'workaholic' too. That's why I understand Michael so well! I just can't 'relax'. My brain needs to be 'entertained' or else my brain bugs my body and then my body 'misbehaves' LOL. Seriously, I just can't play 'cactus' in that sofa any more and yep, you can blame my Doc for that. I had to spend at least 6 months in that bloody sofa watching lame shows cause my spine had to rest. It was HELL for me! That's WHY peeps think I'm TOO active having a 'disability' like mine. Well, I'm NOT gonna whither away, you know! My brain won't let me or is it my ever nagging Muse that never leaves me be? So, it's indeed all about perspective! Daz. 9/19/2013 The silver liningHello peeps, Yep, I think I have found the 'silver lining'. For years, I've been ruining my hands and typing my fingers to the bone on a computer NOT connected to the net cause I wanted my stuff to be 'perfect' or could be that I thought nobody would like my stuff anyway. Yet, I'm still baffled people exactly 'insist' that they want to read more stories now published on my blog and site. Well in 2011, a dear friend of mine now saw the 'talent' hidden in me. He gave me a blog where I blossomed open as a Resident Writer and it gave me the courage to start this site too where I let all my stories loose into the BIG BAD world. What about the "silver lining", you say? This site is the 'silver lining'. Why spend years trying to hold your story back in fear that no one would like it? Taking the daring plunge into the abyss! Won't you have peeps that don't like to read your stuff? Of course but don't let them dim your light! You, as reader here, have a fave genre too. Some love romantic stories, others love to the gruesome stuff! The IMPACT you have on a reader stems from what drives YOU to write such story! Happy writing, Daz. 9/15/2013 how to find PeaceHello Lovelies, This is the million dollar question to some hey! How do you find peace? Is it easy to find it? How do you know you found it? Most Important! How you make you sure you don't lose it again? When you have gone through a tough time like an illness or a loss of a loved one, it's easy to get stuck in your grief and fret that nothing will ever be the same again. I guess, that's life! You grow, you get older. You age, you get wiser! Life is an experience with good and BAD ones. I've been feeling quite at easy for a few weeks now and came to the conclusion that I have found peace again. Yesterday, I wanted to SHOUT it off the rooftops, as they say! Not to brag but to HELP others. It feels strange to feel like that but certainly NOT wrong. This is what closure feels like or according to Kübler Ross I have finally reached the "acceptance" stage that I thought I would never reach. Grief doesn't have a timeline or a fixed amount of time. It took me 4 years to feel 'okay' again. Now how did I get here? 3 things are IMPORTANT to gain peace again. That is HOME, FRIENDS and DREAMS. Sounds simple, does it? HOME A place where you can rest your soul. A place where you can be yourself. a place where you can fall apart and most of all NOT have to 'pretend' you're strong if you feel like falling apart. This can either be a HOME with family that loves you unconditionally or/and a Community On line or 'face to face' where you can be yourself again and express how you feel how silly it might be. FRIENDS The ones who respect you and NOT mock you. The ones where you can be YOURSELF and that make you shine. The ones who BELIEVE in you, when you didn't believe in yourself. This can again be either On line or 'face to face' friends. Don't worry, On line friends do 'exist' ! They are NOT imaginary as 'counsellors' claim they are. Sometimes, they HEAL you even more cause the 'confrontation' is NOT so big when you can hide behind a 'nickname' as a 'filter screen'. Is advisable for 'sensitive' and 'shy' peeps like myself. DREAMS The last key factor in this 'peace thingy' but certainly not the least is dreams. You're allowed to still have them even you're tainted or broken. Its the juice that keeps you alive. Its what keeps the peace in you and you can share your dreams with family and friends. Is what brings you back your dignity! So, please GO for your dreams, no matter where to lead too! L.O.V.E, Daz. 9/10/2013 I remember MichaelingHowever, did we manage to do the Michaeling thing in 1983? Come to think of it, Michaeling, 30 years later, has become quite digital, hasn't it? As in all the stuff we used to do we 'abandoned' that and we're stuck 'on line'. We gather piccies we pluck from forums, facebook, photo sites. We share them on FB and on MJ forums. We read about Michael on line in MJ forums, news sites and FB. We watch MJ videos on You tube and Vimeo. We can make them and share them too. We listen to Michael on MP3, I Tunes, You tube, MJ forums, MJ radios and CD's playing on our computers. We share our memories on forums and chats. For the 'fossil' loyal fans including yours truly, we have made quite a change in how we do our 'MIchaeling', right? I remember being sweet for hours just scrap booking piccies and news articles of Michael. Now, they seem like bygone glories. I remember listening to Michael's music on Vinyl, cassette and later CD. I dragged my walk man's, portable CD players everywhere with me. I still got my MP3 Man with me. I remember spending hours writing to pen pals by hand and then waiting in line in the post office to get that letter overseas. When the postman came, you always looked out for a letter with gorgeous foreign stamp. I remember watching Michael's latest video on TV seeing it climb the charts and I watched "Black or White" each time it was on Number ONE, like a GOOD mantra. I remember hearing the news on Michael on TV and reading the newspapers and pop magazines. Only in 1994, I joined a fan club with a fanzine and stuff. It wasn't till 2001, I joined a MJ forum. I remember watching vids over and over again till they wore out on the huge TV screen in the family room and then later on the tiny screen crammed in your room. Was the change for the better? Well, all changes bring sacrifices and good things too. We have the world in our pocket now. The latest news in a minute! We take for granted that we talk to friends across the globe just by typing words into a chat. We've come far, have we? Daz. 9/7/2013 Not forgottenHey, remember me? LOL No seriously, been ever so busy that I just didn't have time to scribble here. The site is picking up quite nicely with COOL feedback from friends so that gives me the courage to make it the BEST site ever. Still got my blog to run too which I had to change in my schedule to Tuesday and Fridays. Currently writing a 'Spritual' kind of story on MJJCBlog called "Angel of light" . More news? ah, make over of the bedroom is complete! Did a test to skip classes at College which starts on Sept. 16 and I'm really eager to go. Anything else to mention here? I hate this 'jojo' weather. One day Summer, next day Autumn! BAD very BAD for my joints so now even my spine hurts too! AOUW! Daz. |
AuthorI'm Daz and my Muse is called 'Michael', he likes to keep me awake with his 'inspiration' but without him. I would not be the same person and probably not a writer too. Archives
