9/1/2017 0 Comments What about Fan fiction? So, I thought I'd write this Blog to talk about Fan fiction as I had friends asking me "HOW to write Fan fiction" and if it's somehow 'different' from novel writing. The 'story base' is the same though with ONLY one 'aspect' that you need to have ONE character that carries the 'fan fiction' genre. So if you write a "Michael Jackson Fan fiction" then he should obliviously play an important role in it with a nickname cause of the 'copyrighted' name. So, How do you even start a Fan fiction story then? Simply, like you write any story no matter what genre or length. Any story exactly starts with 2 characters you get to know. You choose their name and give them some background or a 'life' prior to the incident which is also called the 'Intro' of your story. It can be 'two lovers' or just two friends depending on the story you wanna tell. Then, the ball starts rolling with someone that brings 'conflict' between the two characters also referred as the 'Incident'. ONE scene changes everything in their 'structured' lives. Next, is just letting your imagination run wild and listen to the characters rioting over 'who can have her lol' or how they will cope now with what happened to them. That is the 'Struggle' which is the 'real body' of your story. As the story takes shape and every character has his say and deals with the situation in his own way, you will soon see who's gonna win or lose the game they play. That brings us to the 'Resolution' of the story! Which can be a 'break up' that is mended or a 'miracle of life' between the two characters! In either way, there is always a Victory or a defeat which makes or breaks the story into a 'Climax' or even an 'anti climax'. The hero of your story overcomes its burdens or is totally defeated somehow.
So, that is the 'core' of "Story writing "! Have fun!
